Qur'an-based humanities,as a new paradigm within the discourse on the Islamization of knowledge,seeks to provide theoretical frameworks and practical solutions for complex human and social issues by relying on revelatory foundations.However, despite the immense conceptual capacity of the Holy Qur'an, the transition from theoretical discussions to the objective and systematic realization of these sciences is faced with a series of methodological challenges and obstacles that limit their efficacy and operational capability.The significance of resolving these issues stems from the fact that success in presenting an indigenous and effective model of the humanities—a key objective of the new Islamic civilization—is directly dependent on successfully overcoming these epistemological bottlenecks.

Employing a descriptive-analytical approach and the method of conceptual analysis,the present study identifies and deconstructs these obstacles and formulates strategies to move beyond them.The findings of this analysis indicate that the challenges can be classified into four main layers:1)Conceptual challenges, arising from ambiguity in the precise definition of foundational concepts; 2) Interpretive and inferential challenges,stemming from the conflict between traditional approaches and the needs of modern sciences; 3) Historical and cultural challenges,rooted in the influence of uncritical presuppositions on the process of understanding the text;and 4) Applicational challenges,related to the gap between the theoretical and practical realms.This article ultimately argues that by formulating a"specialized and interdisciplinary methodology,"an"effective updating of Ijtihad in the humanities,"and"creating centralized educational and research infrastructures,"these obstacles can be systematically overcome, paving the way for the transformation of Qur'an-based humanities from a theoretical idea into a dynamic and impactful scientific system.
